We sold other brands of saunas for one year but we soon learned that our customers were looking for features other saunas had that our sauna did not. Features like choice of wood cabinet, different sizes, better warranty, indoor music systems and an outdoor cover.

Sunlight Saunas was the answer to what our customers wanted. Sunlight has all of the features and benefits that customers were looking for in an infrared sauna. How did we find this out?

At five shows, we exhibited Sunlight along with two other sauna lines, side by side, all operating at the same temperature. Our customers chose Sunlight 5 to 1 over the other saunas.

Four months after we deliver our saunas, we send our customers a survey and testimonial letter. We ask our buyers why they bought Sunlight over other saunas and why they bought from Back and Body Solutions. We also asked what features were most important to them. Here are the results:

#1 – Heater Performance – Sunlight Saunas are the world’s first wooden infrared saunas made with Solocarbon Far Infrared Heaters and the first sauna to place heaters in the side walls and the floor of the sauna to totally surround you with infrared heat.  Sunlight heaters have up to 27 times the surface area and there are more heaters than any other sauna company to heat your body more evenly and effectively.

Sunlight is the ONLY sauna company to provide and publish independent testing data proving the micron range and effectiveness (95% emissivity) of their far infrared heaters. All other sauna companies make claims regarding their effectiveness but have never proved it by independent testing.

#2 – Lifetime Warranty – Sunlight provides you with a lifetime warranty on the electrical system, cabinetry and heaters for as long as you own your sauna. Most other sauna manufacturers offer lifetime on the heaters but limited warranties of 1 to 10 years on the electronics and cabinet.

#3 – Indoor AM/FM/CD Stereo – Sunlight uses a premium Blaupunkt Stereo System, specially designed to handle high temperatures, that is installed INSIDE the sauna. This is the same music system that is installed in BMW automobiles and comes with a MP3 plug. Our Luxury model comes with an optional DVD/LCD player.

All other sauna companies mount their stereo on the outside of the cabinet or you have purchase and install an external system. It really is inconvenient to have to get up, open the door and let cold air in every time you need to adjust your stereo.

#4 – Choice of Wood Cabinetry – Sunlight offers the choice of four different models and two types of wood cabinets. Canadian Red Cedar is available for those sauna traditionalists who love the aroma of cedar. Since we frequently work with customers who are dealing with chronic health issues, having a sauna with the most hypoallergenic wood is very important to us. The Sunlight Armana saunas are available in Basswood, a wood so pure, it is used by beekeepers since they do not have to filter the honey.

#5 – Fast Assembly – Sunlight saunas are the only wooden sauna with a patent pending magnetic assemply process. There are no clips, screws or tools needed to assemble the sauna as the panels virtually snap together. Once the panels are moved to your location, it takes only 10-15 minutes to assemble. This allows you to easily change the location of your sauna and take it with you if you move.

#6 – Power Efficiency - Since our Sunlight saunas heaters are so efficient, all of our model can operate on a 120 volt power supply, except for our Luxury model which is 240 volt due to its size. Other saunas company’s larger models require 240 volt power supply, due to their inefficient smaller heaters, and this may require you to pay for an expensive electrical upgrade. Please note – all of our saunas can be made for a 240 volt power supply if this is your existing power supply.

#7 – Outdoor Cover – Want to put your new sauna outdoors? Sunlight has custom-made waterproof canvas covers to protect your sauna from the elements and keep your lifetime warranty on the cabinet effective.
